Got a knocking noise coming from the front drivers side! I think it’s either a ball joint or something with the suspension ... (mounting or something!)
I know the fault can't be diagnosed with out actually taking a look at it but just wondered if I should bring her on Wednesday?
Will someone be able to bring a few parts with them, assuming you have some spare, any see if we can get her sorted? I really want to go up to EFI on the weekend so need her up and running for that.
I am currently staying in Egham, otherwise would have popped over to Markey Mark in Aylesbury!

Sounds like the top mount may have gone mate, bit annoying as i think i have a few of those in the garage still from some old suspension i took apart

Mark, is it a part you could bring with you (assuming your attending)? along with some tools of course. I got a few spaners and the odd screwdriver...
You have to strip the whole strut apart to change it mate if its that, i can bring the bits along for you if you need them but couldn't do it there. If you wanted to drive over tomorrow evening could do it for you quickly

You not got an old lamba sensor lying about you could bolt in for now just cut the wires off it

Engines not in yet Gary, i lost my spare release bearing and spent all weekend looking for it so couldn't put box onto engine!

No mate, not going to fit it now till either this weekend or the next. No rush though, got few little bits want to do to engine too and also get the red 5 sorted for its trip up north soon

Tax runs out today (i was comin anyway but not worth it now)
And due to the cooler leak i dont think theres any coolant left in it now so im gunna take it apart tomorrow instead.
