    Wot wheels?

Wot wheels and colour would look best on my red 5, gona store the original speedlines because I want some 15s on it for a more aggressive stance. Pics of your 5s are welcomed lol

the best wheels i ever used are the original 13 inch speedlines, steering feels alot more nimble and light and feels how a 5 should feel

    Re: Wot wheels?

deffo the clio williams in black, tungy grey or white on a red car
a light weight 15" rim from renault ,perfect for the track and road, also saves messing around with spigot rings as it is a renault oe fitment sharing the same hub dimensions as the 5 gtt

this is a wild card, but has anyone ever done banded steels on a renault 5 GTT? think that would look cool as polar bear pi$$ in white, cost shouldnt be too bad either

    Re: Wot wheels?

Banded spare gtt rims would be awesome, staggered 7" front & 8" rear with a bit of stretch I did plan on getting some done for my van but got the coupe rims instead.

    Re: Wot wheels?

Hiya DJ, used a place in Worcester, £25 a rim for blasting and coating, they're not perfect but good enough for hooning round a track I hope.
Had a new set of Toyo T1Rs fitted too, £215 off ebay for 4!

    Re: Wot wheels?

nope, still got them renault offset too so user friendly..with tyres, and 1 spare, bought them off here a few months back but no use for them anymore, no curbing, 4 were refurbed but 1 has had frost get to it and some of the paint has started to flake, but not in obvious area's.. and the fifth is just a spare.. 4 195/45/15 tyres, and 4 centres

pm me if your interested, im sure we could sort out a fair price

    Re: Wot wheels?

I has a 19 16V and changed the alloys, then these sat in the garage for years. I got fed up of moving them about to get to stuff.

As for the willy wheels, one was quite badly oxidised and this has shown through a bit. I'm not too worried, I'm going for the track warrior look.
