first job complete needed a dam good wash and polish as it has been sitting in a forest for over two years now. thank god i had it covered
also ive taken all the stickers off it's now in stealth mode as im looking to put it on the road all legal and still have it looking like a normal campus
Nice one Col.
Good to see the old girl getting some lovin'
Back in the game!!!
Nice one Col
Nice one Col. Your inspiring me to dig out the ph1 I've been promising to put back on the road for the past ooooohhh, 5 years or so.
Yay for the coll,
Long live the king!

i remember seing this just over 4yrs ago now this was and was pretty sure in the little camparse would have a good go against the evo and it did
Great vid
AHOY SHIPMATE! Great news your back in the game, looking forward to some more camparse progress!
Get it on the road and get boosting! Took mine out for a dust off today, really enjoyed Dartmoor tarmac. It is great to re-discover the 5 after a few weeks out of it!
Long live the king
thought id give you lot an update
IT'S ALIVE... got the engine back together with new pistons and liners and started it up . fired up first time no probs apart from forgeting to fit the oil filter opppss the contents of the sump are now all over the garage floor. nice mess
got the oil filter on and ran it up again . sounds realy good and angry. a few lads pop out to the garage woundering wot the hell it was making all that noise . ha ha it still has the straight through side pipe on, wich will be comming off for road use
cant wait to put it on the road and find out if the rebuild has given it more power than before
Its Alllllllllllllllllive!
miss my camparse
that was because , wot you cant see in that vid was the **** in an escort pissed out of his head going all over the place in the other lane all i could do was keep infront of him so he didnt crash into me . he got thrown out of pod later that night after the martials had very strong words with him
The start up sound . Sounds quality after not hearing for ages .
I just starting on my car again should get it fired up tomorrow all going well.
Hope all good Col mate
LATEST UPDATE i wasnt happy with the way it was idling . checked loads of things even retightened the head and reseting the tappets again . found them a bit tight now the head has settled down . breather sys redone but still not idling the way i would like it to. so i built another carb for it rejeting for road use and wolllla it idles a dream... plopp plopppp plob ploppb at 500rpm some more final tunning to come when its got more fresh fuel innit
found this old vid of wot it does to its drag tyres
I took a few more on the day, not brilliant quality but hey.... LOL
Col, not sure how you nicked my vid but top work ,

Yes col, nice to see the camparse alive again!
update
been doing loads of stuff to the old french bitch .
loads of new stuff has gone on it . revamped stuff anyways still trying to keep it as cheap as pos . major cost was 4 nice new tyres to go on the 19,ph1,alloys.
fitted the road legal exhaust ~ std front pipe with a pico big bore rear box nice and quiet at 87db
ive done several cheack lecky mods that i hope are gonna work . like, i fitted a soleniod to the idle jet so i can turn off the fueling on over run for some nice popping and banging. working on turning the alt off when at full throttle is next
all the brakes are under going a major overhaul.. this was a wise move as i found the rear brake pipe looking a bit rusty and on removing them one split and started leacking .. so its all new metal brake pipes to the rear
the suspention has been reworked for road use, front end is all set up with 1.5° of camber and the rear has been lifted by 5mm
many days just tinkering around sorting things out. but all is going well so far. cant wait till its on the road propperly
Good going Col. I can't wait to see it on the road at last
looking good so far loads of work getting done
the rear has been lifted 5 mm from that picky and it sits just right now
fuel cell all built now and bolted in . just need to sort out the pipe work
should solve the fuelsurge prob
Ahhhhh - I remember pulling up next to the camp arse at the pod at my first national day, Coll played it down somewhat and handed me my own LOL. Great to see it up and running again Coll. Will she be visiting French shores next year?
Well we'll colski!!!! Getttt innnnnnnn might have to pop and see you soon and camparse
