Thats cool mate, if you got a few more mods may aswell bring the reshell forward alittle bit and have it new and fresh for next year.

    Re: well done scoff 10.14@146mph

I was going to come up around lunch time with carcrash, logg, dan and robbie (turbo ted) as I think he was running today...however I was short of cash and had to wait around for someone who owes me money for my motocross bike I sold. Funny thing is I've been in a local pub this eve and overheard 2 young lads talking to there friends about being at pod today....

Only to hear them talk about scoffs 5 they were saying how quick it was and that they had no idea what was under the bonnet but in there words " that black gt turbo was an absolute animal, we can't work out what/why it was so quick"....I could of put them to rest tonight but thought sod it...

    Re: well done scoff 10.14@146mph

cheers lads, was a good day really apart from the mental head wind all day. I was waiting till 6pm or so for the air to cool a bit more, then the wind died down and I went for a final run only to be told they had just shut the track ! No mention of an early close in the racers newsletter and I'd just got some good settings on the car that ment 1st and 2nd gear were blinding but I didn't get chance to do a full pass with full throttle shifts.

shafts and hubs were 100%, really pleased with the conversion. I was getting some huge grip in 1st which would have certainly broke the GT shafts. I was able to dial out lots of power in 1st gear which I didn't dare do before (less power stops wheel spin which makes for a better 60' but loads the shafts up even more of course). The new speed-based shift light is working well, I was able to get the 1st to 2nd shift bang on. 4.4 sec 330 which I was pleased with. Head wind screwing things up a bit at the top of the track but still a pair of 10.1's.

I ran the incar camera too for a laugh, only to find it didn't record a single run

Older members will remember james willday, ex white R5 EP customer, ran his PB of 9.2 @ 149 today in his big spec RX7. The run after he stuffed the back quarter in to the wall but in true willday fashion laughed it off. Was good to catch up with him.

great news mate, well done! glad to see the conversion works well

i can imagine your looking to forward to fitting a shute

what sort of boost you down too down then in 1st gear? shows how important dialing in is now.

you heard miller just went 147mph @ 1/8th testing new setup ready for the big race nov 6th!

cheers rob, yes it's all in the fine tune as you well know

Minimum boost is 1 bar, so it runs that in 1st, which is still way too much so I pull a lot of timing too, but only in 1st gear. They joys of having a clever ECU

I thought miller was going NA ! 147mph, what the hell are we even bothering for !!

Well truth be told I think it would take a perfect day and then it might just be 9.9 so funds allowing I'll make the upgrades I need to make over winter and hopefully it will do it a bit more comfortably next year.

No more running this weekend for me, saturday was demonstrators only (invites to race classes, demo cars etc) so robbie couldn't run but he's racing today, hopefully track is good for him.

First propper run, slight lift in 1st because it started to spin

Following run, slight tweeks, better 330' but overreved 3rd gear, poorer trap speed
