We have just set up a workshop for electrostatic flocking of dashboards, centre consoles or practicaly any other part that you want to have done.
we have a full professional electrostatic setup with an epoxy spray booth to give a top quality finish to the parts.
if any forum members want any of their parts done at a good rate please get in touch and i will make sure you get a very good price.
virtualy all colours are possible and its a great way to make tired looking plastic parts look like new.

£99 for a small dashboard plus 2 additional small components is quite a competative price, we are happy for people to bring parts to us and collect parts from us to save on packaging and carriage costs, unfortunately bulky items like dashboards are not cheap to ship these days

we can now offer a refurbishment service for door cards and rear quarter cards, flocking shown is color matched to the original fabric trim for as close to OEM look as possible, repairs to damaged cards can also be done.
provided parts are supplied stripped of fabric or vinyl the cost for preparing and flocking a set of front cards would be £100 or a set of front and rear cards £150

Repair prices,
laminate with fibreglass tissue and refinish cracks £4 each
repair collapsed bolster by bonding in a plate and refinishing surface £20

uk shipping normaly £20 but to kickstart things it will be free on card sets recieved before the end of febuary

Recieved a dash off of a fiesta mk1 for flocking, like many out there it has its issues in the way of damage so i decided to show some of the repair work as it comes together.
im doing this dash as a demonstration of what can be done, please be aware that to do this is normaly chargable as it is very time consuming.

first area of damage a split to the upper left side of the instrument binacle


split repaired with cyanoacryalate resin


after filling with resin and refinishing


below that a few more nicks and splits repaired the same way


dint in the right hand side of the instrument binacle


filled and refinished


drivers side lower corner of dash was crumbling and falling apart


soaked with resin and clamped in place to cure restoring it to shape and making it rigid again


drivers side of dash near fixing again crumbling away


same process used to restore shape and strength


next up the drivers top corner of the dash had the same issues


again soaked in resin and clamped to restore its shape and strength


the feed from the heater assembly had certainly seen some better days as had the mounting ponts for the top dash vents shown below it


restored to a more functional shape and the mounting points for the dash vent strengthened


holes in the bottom edge of the dash


repaired with resin them skim filled for a smooth finish


bottom edge of dash was breaking up and vinyl chipped away all along the lower edge


structure stabilised with resin


vinyl all glued back down and edge skim filled where needed


mounting hole in the edge of the dash was broken out



structure repaired and shaping re-finished



nick in the face of dashboard


repaired with resin so that split wont creep and sanded flush


hole in the back of dash


filled with resin and refinished


and finaly some pictures of the finished dash restored and ready to go

the latest project a nissan pulsar dash in for repair, modification and flocking

the dash as recieved, has had a hole cut in the front for a guage that the customer wants filled, customer has made a start on fitting a guage pod by cutting away the vinyl to expose the plastic structure of the dash on the top where the pod is to be fitted, also the dash has several areas of damage to be addressed.



first pieces of damage were at the back left side of the dash




both repaired with cyanoacryalate resin and skim filled to restore the correct shaping


next was some pretty major damage to the front edge of the dash


again repaired with resin and filled to restore shaping


more damage to the tray on the top of the dash


repaired and refinished


guage pod location as we recieved the dash


cleaned up the mounting surface and cut out underneath the pod to allow easy routing of wires / pipes


guage pod fixed in place with cyanoacryalate resin also the edges of the vinyl were consolidated with resin, this helps to stop any cracks from starting from the edge, once cured excess was sanded away


dashboard was set level and space around guage pod filled with epoxy and left to cure


pod was then filled and blended in to give a nicer final finish, grooves in the sides of the pod that were originaly to allow 2 screws to be used to fit the pod were also filled as they served no purpose now and looked out of place


hole in front of the dash when we recieved it needed filling


we moulded a round puck of epoxy to fit the hole and then shaped the face to match the shape of the dash front and beveled the edges to allow it to be bonded in place, it was also backed by plastic reinforcement behind on the inside of the dash


face was then skim filled to resore the dash's original shaping




dash was flocked earlier today, will add more pics once it has cured and the excess flock has been removed

its also a great way to tidy up your dash if there is any damage to it as i can repair most damage or issues they may have prior to flocking, minor repairs are covered in the flocking cost however any repair work taking longer than 30mins will be quoted before commencement and charged at reasonable rates

hi there, the color chart below shows most of the standard flock colors but if you want something specific i can do custom mixes to achieve different results, and if you want a glitter effect in it i can sort that as well

we had some more parts in to go with the modified dashboard we did for the renault 5

a common problem with getting these sort of dashes flocked is things like the switches jaming up due to companies flocking where is convenient rather than putting in the effort to make sure everything will work as it should, carefull masking and finishing to remove excess flock is the name of the game.
