missfire on cyl 1 and no boost

drove the 11 the 4 mile journey from workshop to work this eve, and it has a mega missfire and doesn't make boost?!

pulled lead off cyl one and still lumpy, touched injector and couldn't feel it 'clicking' like i could the other 3

are injectors common to fail, or could i be looking and dodgy wiring? whats the best way to check wiring to tell its working?

See if you can borrow a noid light to check the wiring.

swap injectors 1 and 2 over and see if fault moves to that cylinder

Take the injector rail off and see if they are all firing? if not swap one around that is for the one that isn't if that one now works you need another injector.

I do have spare OE ones if you want them

& I've got 4 802's
As has been suggested above really, check they all fire, then eliminate if it's down to wire or injector.
