U must have a leek somewhere! it would'nt idle at 18 afr!

also 12's is far too rich for idle!,mines happiest around 14.

have you cleaned out the idle jet?

when it's running does it idle smoothly?

Re: afr on 18 on idle

its a grp a carb had both jets changed got a massive main jet and had the secondary jet changed for a bigger 1. all air correctors changed and a carb rebuild less than 100 miles ago. i turned the idle mixture scrw nearly all the way out and it runs ruff now. this is why im confused to y its saying its lean. gunna turn the screw back a bit 2 morro b4 the dyno day.

take the idle jet out (up and left of the mixture screw)and clean that and also blow in to where you unscrewed it with an air line if possible, then fire the car up,get it up to temp and adjust the mixture screw to around 14 afr
