    meet bajjer :)

right as you probably all know ive been looking again as always and luckily i found a cracking little 5 that i plan to keep for some good time

    so firstly piccies

    inside

    drivers side

    front without grille

and back home from camberidge after collecting from Graham (nice chap

    Plans moving forward are:

    firstly new grille
fuel pump as it kicks over straight away but then dies
    indicators front
    seats

    Moving forward
i will be sourcing inner and outer sills anf having them re - done
bodywork is good but needs alittle tlc so all rusty bits removed and sprayed up and a good machine polish (anyone local with a polisher )

long term engine out and bay tidied up underneath wax oiled
    and obviously making some meets

    will update as i progress

Ive seen this one in person. Went up to Grahams and had the interior from it.

Looked in good condition and I guess he just didn't go any further with breaking it.

I'll be watching the thread with interest

I was second owner when i bought it of a gay nurse 15yrs ago, could of got
cheaper if i showed abit of flesh

I sold my metro turbo and bought the 5 for £2600 with only one owner and bog standard with 38000mls, it was a big step up (well anything is from a metro)

will be looking forward to watching this thread

I see you've got a name for her,it was called the peach in my ownership, the name came from my mum

right an update as its been a while

I lost interest as i had the scoob so sold that and bought a diesel M sport 120D Bmw
which is cheep like the bird

so now with the extra cash i have spare on fuel shes booked in for the sills to be done long with the bonnet tidying up and grille

moving forward im purchasing some Ronal teddy alloys for it and i may put in bucket seats but unsure as the leather seats are comfy.
Im after a new turbo as mines leaking but until its been sprayed im not driving it

will get pics after the its been in the shop

    ow and work now needed
    A pillers both sides
    inner and outer sills
    floor panels both sides
    jacking points
    rear bumper mounts
totalling around £800 including materials which is a good price i think looking at the extensive corrosion

good stuff, just make sure it goes to a bodyshop and not a garage.. as the standards of welding between the two are usually very diffrent.
