Santa Pod to Goodwood Festival of Speed on Saturday morning?

A few of us are looking at the fact that Goodwood is only 2 hours (less) away from Pod and are planning on taking a road trip on Saturday morning down to the Festival of Speed.

Rough plan so far- leave Pod 7am ish. Drive to Goodwood. Wander around looking at various pieces of automotive porn and watch loud expensive stuff blast up the hill! We can either then head back to pod (camp and retroshow on sunday), or camp at Goodwood head to pod sunday, or screw pod and spend another day at the festival! (my personel fav)

Anyone who fancies the trip down on Saturday post up below and/or catch up with Miller, Krissy M or me at Pod on Friday

Entry tickets to Goodwood are £53 per adult.

Surely if you want to go to Goodwood you'll need to be there a lot earlier than 0900, if you want to get in before 1500. I've never been (it's much too local ), but all I hear is that the queues are horrendous!
