    whats best intercooler to use?

im looking for intercooler i can use without having to butcher front of car,i have a cosworth front mount at moment but its going to be a real pain to pipe up so am scrapping that, i read that one off frontera's fit well but they look pretty similar to cosworth

i could ideally do with a twinpass so both pipes are on right side, noticed a few of you use these, does it engine cooling?

    any ideas would be great

what cossie one do you have ? if its the 2wd one then iv got one on my car did take a tad of modding but didnt have to butcher front end and piped up pretty easy. the 4x4 ones will take alot more work thats for sure

edited as only just seen this was in the b18ft section so might be harder to pipe up than c1j ?

mines like this one but with 2.5" outlets (which are big enough as it is) 3" is over kill. I had to cut the top of the cross member out for it to fit. I got mine off that guy its the medium one but phillg got the smaller one and didnt have to cut out the cross member.

mine never got hot. my inter cooler and rad were mm's apart and that worked better than having a big gap as the air being forced through the intercooler will have to go through the rad and not round the sides.
this may be good if youre on a budget youll have to measure up though

thats the one i was looking at with the 3" inlets, going to mail him and see if he has any small models, although the rs turbo one looks quite good, not quite as deep so may get away with cutting cross member, 5 days to go so ill watch it

    cheers
