How annoying, i need to tax the Clio but the Post Office won't be open until 9-10am on the 1st. I don't really wanna tax it 24rs before as they'll back date it a month

yeh the word local is quite deceaving when it comes to dvla.

It's 30 mins from where i live, it would be handy if they can do the tax disc dated from the 1st July. I can then pop it in the screen and have it there so i can use the car first thing

call them first to make sure im correct but when i went to tax my car they asked what month i wanted it to start from.

I just went to post office and got told i can tax the car for the 1st july 48hrs before the day. hope thats right as il need it then also. may have to bite the bullet tho and pay for this month as the engine isnt in and needs a bit of fine tuning still
