    turbo f7p cams

who's running standard cams in there f7p /f7r

stuck a set of na piper 270's in, and now wished i never bothered although where cheap
how does the standard cams come in on the turbo lump , and is it worth trying the f7r cams out of a williams or megane, or possibly the f4 if they would fit /work , have also spoken to catcams, who do a set of turbo cams, but there a lot of money and not sure if there going to really give me worth while gains over the standard items £ vs bhp if that makes sense.

    any views /thoughts/ ideas welcome,

Got standard cams in my car, works fine for the conversion and just didn't seem worth the cost to what little improvement it may gain from it. As the car could produce more power than I really wanted to run anyway so not like with Scoff who will be trying to get as much from his engine as possible.

Have to find the rolling road sheet for when it was running the 12psi after a lot more setting up, this was only the initial runs just to get the car running around, this was with a blown turbo but was a T28

from what I remember power band was really around the 3k up to 6k where torque was at its higest point, pretty much flattened off up there think it was around the 239lb/ft mark

No more tread left on the tyres

The last rolling road was at 12psi and that was 233bhp and 239lb/ft cant remember what revs they are at though. Got it then holding at 1bar on a road run sorting out the electronic boost controller and boost came on sooner as well which was great, and that is a handful on front wheel drive
