    Renault trafic issue

Seem to have an alarm issue where its got a mind of its own after being locked,

I can remotely turn off the ultrasonics on arming however it still goes off so ive ruled that out.

When driving i've not seen the door open symbal come up, so was just wondering if anyone has any ideas who might work for renault and have seen an issue wuth these before...as i for one contest paying dealer prices.

I know i can get it plugged in for any faults but doubt it'll show up with any.

I remember a traffic having the same sort of problem, water in the bonnet switch.
Disconnect it and see if it fixes it.
Also had a problem with a slightly loose ignition switch connector, the grey connector with yellow and red thick wires.
    Both cost nothing to check....

cheers matt, i'll be checking each door and bonnet switch and i'll tape 1 up at a time to hopefully get down to the problem.

It also seems a common problem with a white wire going to the ecu/alarm bell which i've noticed whilst searching the world wide web

The mod on the switch, a piece of sticky felt.
