    f7p turbo clio

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

so ive been a bit of a mk1 clio nut for some years now..
    mainly owning N/A examples (and a gti6 205)
i decided to buy myself a project and get to work
i picked the car up for next to nothing
the engine itself was high mileage and had a hard life but i wasnt bothered too much due to having my turbo lump to drop in
i set about removing the old tatty f7p lump (with the oil cooler mounted upside down)
    from the car

with the engine out.. i set about ripping the innards of the car apart (including the dash)
as this is going to be a strip and track car i wanted to rid as much weight as possible

this will be tidied up on completion

now for the exciting bit.. the new engine

    current spec is as follows

Head Stripped and Chemically Cleaned by me
    Rebuilt with Brand New Followers

    Brand new Garrett GT2860RS
    172 Flywheel
    Genuine Renault Flywheel Bolts
    172 Helix Paddle Clutch
    172 Release Arm and Bearing
JB3 Gearbox rebuilt in 06 but only covered 3,000 miles since rebuild due to car being off the road.
-10 AN Oil Drain Machined into Block
    440 cc '803' injectors
    canems standalone management

    Re: f7p turbo clio

it was yes... the engine was built by a friend over on the clio forum
my original plans where to turbo it anyway..
but i decided to buy this as it would be much better for me financially!
just a few things to finish off and its ready to go..
waiting on 3k's worth of goodies to arrive on a pallet at the moment
