    renault 5 campus starting problems!

    hi all just put a n/a (c3j) lump into my 5 when i first started the car after putting the engine in it would run no problem but now just keeps cranking over if u put a drip of fuel down the carb it will start ?? seems as if its not getting enough fuel on start up?? any help would be really apprieciated as i really dunno whats up with it !!!

    OK.......
    could be a TDC sensor fault.....
    cold start temp switch not working, ie)No choke
    manifold gasket split causing too much air to enter the system.

    thanks for that paul ive checked tdc and connections already i will try cold start temp switch as it seems most logical as it will not start from cold is it best to buy a new switch?? and i will have a look at gasket it had a headgasket done before i bought it so i will have a good look cheers bud
