    whats the best stem seals to use !

    whats the best stem seals to use! i bought the ones from k-tec and they dont fit
    or would i be best getting them from renalt main dealer

    mike whats the best ones to us buddie i have the white one from k-tec but they dont fit they are to big

    I use vauxhall 2 litre 16v red top engine valve stem seals much better than the OE white click type, and you get 2 sets for the price of 1 set being of a 16v

    when you say they dont fit , im sure i remember somebody saying they were always very loose.

    Do you get alot of smoke mark?
    mines smokes untill it gets 3/4's the way up temp gauge then stops.
    not sure if its stem seals or piston rings.

    yep i agree marky b, deffo if you intend to rev the engine hard , nothing worse than bits of valve stem oil seals floating around in your engine

    I dont run any stem seals either. Aslong as your valve guides arent too worn it will be fine.

    i didnt have a problem...if anything they needed a little force to put on...
    and i actually done mine an not by word of mouth heard they were crap..
    like most things on here....'oh this dont fit'...that turbo is gash'.....etc..

    cgb uprated were exactly the same as i got from renault standard.
