    starter motor

    ok, i have recently replaced my engine and yesterday was the big day to start the bad boy up, however, when i connected the battery terminals the starter motor engaged and start to turn the engine over without he key in the igition, have i wired the starter up incorrectly or could it be something else,

    Sounds like the 12+ feed to the starter is shorting out on the solenoid wire, or the wire to the solenoid is permanently live for some reason, check that the wiring is connected properly.
