As Glock said in an interview.. He was just trying to keep it on the tarmac. And as Vettel said (who obviously wasn't giving Hamilton any special treatment).. It was really bad conditions. He said it was really hard to even see who he was racing.

I'm sure that if this is true, Glock would have more brains than to be giving it beans and end up facing the wrong direction. In reality he would be taking it easy, so close to the finish line, with the hope/potential to score some decent points.

These were two times compared from the last lap...

Glock - Toyota - Dry Tyres - Last Lap: 1.44.7
Trulli - Toyota - Dry Tyres - Last Lap: 1.44.8

What a crock of sh*t. Earlier in the season it was proved that there's a 30 second difference a lap when on dry tyres on a wet surface compared to intermediates.

Glock's last lap was 28 seconds slower than his previous one.

This is all feckin academic anyway. Glock could have come in for tyres like everyone else and if he had, Hamilton would have been in front of him in the same way he was before it started to rain. In the event, Glock gambled and it very nearly paid off (but it didn't). Big deal. The joke that Glock was paid is very funny, the idea there is some truth in it is simply baseless.

Hope Bruno Senna gets an F1 drive next year. Would be great to see another young, raw talented driver that he is on the grid.

If he's half as good as his uncle, next year's F1 is gonna be the lick

    Re: f1 finale

I'm confused as in an interview immediately afterwards, Hamilton said himself that he was told in his earpiece that he needed to overtake Glok so he did. Unsure if that means Glock was told to LET him pass or not...more than likely methinks

Surely that's not that confusing, even for a girl

He was told he had to overtake Glock, because he did have to overtake Glock, or he wouldn't have been champion.

Martin Whitmarsh said in interview after the race that their GPS signals showed that Glock had slowed massively, and Hamilton was on course to catch him before the end of the lap. So they had to make sure he passed him, and not sat behind him.

    Re: f1 finale

I didn't mean I was confused that he was told to get past and I'm pretty damn sure he knew without being told, that he needed to get in front of him. What I'm saying is that with his wording in the interview, he seemed to give the impression that they were working together in the situation to ensure that Hamilton won.

Well no, with the rain, the amount of people he was overtaking and the heat of the moment, I doubt it was that clearcut that he knew what position everyone else was in, and who exactly he was overtaking when
