Just an update on the manifold fitment, as requested i have found a phase 1 large starter motor and can confirm that it fits straight on the back of the engine with approx half an inch clearance to nearest exhaust pipe.
I'm still unsure to what the starter heat shield looks like as the pile of brackets/guards of me old phase 1's are numerous. If anyone has a pic of one then i have an idea.
Clee, what do we need to do for the 10 year warranty, is the sticker on the manifold the proof of purchase?

Warranty

ETA ...Not sure as they have yet to send me a Paypal invoice ,I've chased them up 3 times now . I expect it to be about a week delivery from then + it'll take me a couple of days to process them and post so about 2 weeks .
