good point as ill be in the same boat lol
cant be as bad as the 13in uniroyal/pirellis
i ran pirellis p6000's i think they were, seemed fine on a 200 bhp 5, in a stright line anyway lol corners were a different story..
is in shropshire mate
ive gone to 15" T1rs and they feel far more planted on the motorway or at speed.. the r888s are better in the wet than i thought, the t1rs are only winning in the shatest of conditions.. theres been a few times when i've thought im glad the r888s aren't fitted..
i dont think any other 13" tyre will be better than the r888, i used to take my 13" uniroyals off in the winter are they were cack

my 888's are stayin on till they wear out an then another set
is goin on
do you use your 5 as an everyday car?
New poster! (less than 10 posts)
yes i do pretty much,i have another car to use but the
5 gets the most abuse really, was goin to take it off
road for winter, but why?,just going to use it,aint a show
car like
usin my car whenever i need to, just don't rag it in the snow and rain, its quite simple lol
i run 888s all day everyday on my car, those who have problems are driving to fast and to stupidly for the conditions
your not running r888's tho????
dont you find when you hit a large puddle of water you aquaplane a hell of a lot more? which isnt good...
well i dont have or havnt had a prob as of yet. love throwing it round bends and roundabouts in the wet, you just need to drive to car to its limits which is fast enough, and also have a bit of common sence and being a good driver helps a little
not saying there best, i think you slide more having a tyre with to much surface area and not enought weight on the area. big tyres put you in faulse sence of security. especially in the wet
The 888s are as good as anything in the wet unless you're driving like a dick .I've got 235 on the rear as well ................
no i put the t1rs back on for the winter but i was for a while
how much r u guys payin a corner for r888s on 13`s??? my uniroyals r on there last legs so will need some new1s soon....
