hmm.. how many peopl would be interested in one.. theres been a lot of threads going up lately with regards to alarms.. thinking maybe a small group buy on alarms.

offers the advantage of getting cost down, plus more heads to fit them.

They all end up being pain sooner or later. If they are going to pinch your car it makes no difference. Sometime they do more damage trying to get passed the alarm.

Re: what alarm to go for?

true.. it puts off the opportunitst though..

the type who will be walking along see a r5.. know there a doddle to get into, a steal it to litrally blast it down the road and stick it in a field and tell all there mates..

however as said if somebody really wants your car they will still get it..

I could make it to dj's too if you fancy fitting one for me? Would it be certified if you did it? Obviously I'd pay

yeah 2 in a day is fine

yes and no for certified, i've left the place i'm certified against, so in theory no, but i always sign the certificates as me and i've never had a problem

as long as my diesel, insulation tape and solder is covered i dont mind helping out

Re: what alarm to go for?

the above sounds a very possible plan, What would probably be an even better idea is i could get access to my bodyshop, meaning it came be done indoors , no reliance on the weather .. how does that sound.

i would but it'd cost you guys about £900 in fuel! lol

i'll bring the dirty dci up, that was fuel is about 30p lol

indoors sounds good, best bet is both order ya alarms and have them ready, then post me the looms a few days before cos it takes a good hour to prep each loom before fitting!

Would it be easier if one of us buys two and gets them posted to you, and you can do your stuff and bring it all with you?
