    BT to Sky broadband

Due to switch on the 22nd and have all the details but ....
Sky have contacted BT etc to arrange the swap over . Anyone done this recently ? Any major cock-ups or extended downtime in your experience ?
I really can't afford it to be off for more than a day or so

I would never use sky broadband again even if they paid me. Too many bad experiences with them. I'm with o2 now and it's been fine.

    Re: BT to Sky broadband

Internet foreve going wrong. Kept messing up our bills and overcharging me. Then I was being stung for 10 meg broadband but I wasn't even getting half a meg and my line could only accept 2.5 so when I wanted to downgrade I was fined etc etc and the call centre is in the middle east somewhere and they kept fobbing us off. I could go on all night. O2 is uk based and jump through hoops to help

Thanks Robbie but as I say it's a done deal on the swap .We are going for the hd telly as well ( not that I'll watch any of it ,for the kids innit )
Main concern is with the swap over and any feck-ups on that front .
Me-Dawny runs a web business so any downtime will mean major stress for her and consequently me

Sky tv perfect. Sky Internet and phone gayness. I hope it works out better for you than it did for me .

Sky are the biggest s hit stain on the tapestry of man kind!!! Utter utter dog s hit with the WORST customer service this side of India. Utterly appalling manners from the staff and THE WORST company department structure. If you have a problem, threatening them with solicitors, trading standards etc wont get you anyware. They are hardened to it and get it everyday.

Clee, it aint a done deal till the cooling off period is over. Get out while you still can!
