    brake pads

i know this has ben asked a lot but i cant find the last thread. What pads do you find best? I was thinking of going for the ferodo ds2500 pads as i hear good things about them. They will be used on the 5 as a fast road/weekend tool and maybe the odd trackday it will be getting abused regardless tho. Also how much am i looking at for pads saw ds2500's on the bay for £75 a set of fronts and £75 rears is that any good?

Personally just get the Ds2500 for the front's matey, I would go just for OE spec pads at the rear, most your braking is done by the front's.

ermmm well its not like the car will be driven every day but when it gets driven it will get driven hard so i need a pad that will take it but dosnt have to be a really long lasting pad as i wont be doing the miles. I think its something more like the servo to blame but we shall see.

    Re: brake pads

just been looking on that camskill , i have used mintex in my vehicles before without a problem and have always lasted longer than the cheaper oe pads, has anyone used the M144 or M155 pads for performance? as mintex always seem reasonable prices. or should we just stick to the forodo's ? what are ktecs carbone lorraines all about?
