    Itll all be worth it in the end mate! Took me how long to build being on only £30 a week from college when i had it lol then soon as i got my job it started getting there abit faster..

    got a small problem at the min with car so might take them off tomorrow whilst cars on axle stands and send them off tuesday.. Hopefully back by next weekend then

    its f7 time!

    Well my cars stripped down and been doing a few bits lately to it to get it ready for f7 power, engines being built up whilst i sorted out the subframe hubs stripped bits not needed etc... Gonna be on going with pics to follow as i do it bit by bit

    Clio mk1 subframe.. Drilled front mount hole

    Welded some plates on for some extra support to botom
    Arms using renault trafic tie rods

    clio 172 hubs machined down to fit gtt struts, drilled struts out to 14mm to take the 172 bolts.

    Stripped interior ready for new dash

    Well after stripping the dash carpet etc i sorted floor pan out as had a slight leak running in through the window seals.. had bit of surface rust so sanded it all back gave it coat of galv primer and just painted it with some black metal paint.. abit pykey style but does te job and wont see it really...


    Inlet mani now polished thanks to hickman shame about the dent into from being in back of my van

    Sounds good, is it built or you got to put it together? Power steering mod, wise move with one of these engine in, there not as light as the C1J block.

    Yeah deffo want the power steering, going to be getting that all i to place the weekend if parts arrive...

    And yeah got ecu adaptronic 420D, marky marks building engine up for me at the min, got turbo teds old custom exhaust mani and got turbo lined up too...

    Just the case of putting together and having the cash! Lol!

    Alot of faffing around and pug 106 hindges with some box welded inside of scuttle for them to bolt to.. Took abit of work to be honest mate but works a treat and helps access alot easier

    Nice touch with those sun visors! Or are they some thing else?

    Carpet looks good to. I was looking todo the same with mine, is that just a big cut out or is it laid on some sort of base as look completely flat.
