There are plenty of numbers, but not sure what they all mean. The best I can offer is that PH1 has the large oval exhaust port, and later heads seem to have a date etched on the inlet face below and between the 1st and 2nd ports (from the cambelt end).

I've started making the bits up to let me test the F4R head. First job bore out a bit of the blue block to 82.7mm

It's all about the precision

This is my best guess for where the bead bolts should be relative to the bore

Oh, and I dismantled a head

a few more bits whilst I'm having a coffee...

I finished the blue block, drilled and tapped some holes so I could fit some M10 studs and made some dowels to hold the head in the right place relative to the bore.

The head is held down with 4 nuts

I've started on something to open the valves

all being well I'll get that finished and do some tests later tonight.

Sorry, I'm clean out of heads now

I'd guess that it's close to the Gordini head, although the bigger bore may help a bit.
