    Is my run around dying?

    Just wondered if anyone can shed some light on this as I've never heard these symptoms before....

    I've got a Proton Persona GLSI 1.5 Auto () and it's always made a funny kinda of buzzing/electronic noise which goes up and down with the RPM. Now, after a few thousand more miles, this sound has changed into more of a load whiring noise coming from the head. At first I thought it was the alternator pulley, but now it appears to come from the whole head, like the cam is grinding it's way out...

    Just wondering if anyone would have a good idea as to what this is?
