it isn't actually a fade though is it ? the dots just get smaller giving the illusion of fade. you would have thought a decent printer could do that.
ive found a guy who can do fade from a solid colour, but the guy wants to charge me an arm and ankle just to call him out to drive 10 mins to come and measure up, when i mentioned the dots the look on his face said he couldnt be arsed, and in this current climate is the wrong attitude, i may just fork out for another set from renault if i dont win the ones on ebayEverybody has a problem with fade!! I have had word with a local printer and i am going to see him on Thursday about replicating these.
He worked on the company that made the orginals... Although there a France only order that were actually made somewhere in Leicester... cant remeber the name of the company.. may well have been 3m.
He seems keen on making these, he reckons he could do a 99% job with just a few high def pics and looking at my Tungy... if i purchase a new set from renault he could do a 100% copy....
I have asked him to give me 2 prices.... one for him making them, one for having a new set from Renault...
I have asked him to give me a quoete for 10 complete kits, i dont think they will cost anywhere near the price of Renault charges...
I will keep you all updated and perhaps a group buy can be sorted once i have prices etc...

happy days penfold , i am 100% 3m made them 3m is a very big company, 3m are the largest company who make adhesives ,vinyl , the renault side decals are a very thin flim , but i am sure i fair few people would of them of here , i was paying renault £75 quid i set in 2004 ,2005 , so its them who have put the price right up

I have my local renault down to £120+ vat for a set, now if needed i will purchase a complete kit and use that as a template for my graphics bloke...
Once i know a price i can work it out, they did my graphics on my learner car and there very good
The best bit aswell i maybe able to do the odd side rather than a complete kit... which could be handy for some people.
The kit i am looking at mainly is the
RED logo....all CAR colours exept BLACK 7701205887
Now if there is enough demand and cost is not to high i could get the other's done to.

Today i recieved a genuine side graphic set from Bill, I have handed them to the printers and they are looking in to replicating these....
They will be as accurate to the nearest . so they should look exactly the same.
I will keep you all updated.

Define 'mint', you defrosted fridge freezer!
The webbing had pretty much come away on the longer pipe, and on the shorter pipe the over-boost sensor/boss is 180deg' the wrong way; ie, it points downwards so that it fits in-between the 2 lower hoses on the header tank...except of course, it doesn't fit in-between said hoses...

Just like to resurrect this thread. I've been to Renault and queried these numbers. Just for the sake of it, my friendly guy ordered all 3 sets into the dealership just so that I could compare. Here are my findings;
RED logo on grey gradient 7701205887
Silver logo 7701205888
RED logo on grey gradient 7701205889
We also called another dealership just to double check that they decals labelled 7701205888 were in the correct packaging and they confirmed that their set were also Silver logo.
The earlier post on this thread was suggesting that 889 were the decals with the silver logo. This seems to have changed. The French dialogys site also confirms this with images http://www.dialogys.fr/accueil.php?cat=carro
So my question now is what is the correct part number for a Black car? seems no one knows not even Renault.
