    New poster! (less than 10 posts)

    Interested in a gripper, I know Russ T has one in Doris...........

    I had one fitted to my blue 5 a few years ago now, sold it on as i had no benifit with it at the pod but for the track i'd rate them very highly.

    it's done 10 miles. No, not R11T, that's 4.07. The 4.83 is custom, £450 (+VAT?). You'd need to sort out a driveshaft as mine are longer than standard.

    Just had a gripper fitted, and was told by company who fitted it, that driveshaft did`nt need altering as gripper modified the diff.

    Had the gearbox fitted and the driveshaft DONT fit and DOES need altering

    Racing beginning of november and need driveshaft altered, spoke to few companies this morning and not interested as its for a race car, bespoke item 6 weeks.

    Can anyone recommend someone or is able to do this.

    Speak to John at Dave Mac Propshafts 02476683239. He will look after you and got mine made in a few days for the R5 VAG conversion
