    Prima racing 1.7 exhaust manifold

Just a quick question guys.Im currently running a prima manifold with a t2 turbo on it which sits nicely in the standard postion as with a c1j set up.Im thinking of changing the turbo to a t25 or t28 turbo but im sure some told me they wont fit the prima manifold can anyone confirm this or not for me?

Any help would be great thanks.

If it's a T2 flange I would have thought a T28 would fit, well it does on the C1J manifold which is T2 flange

Thats what i was thinking mate.Im just sure i remember reading somewhere it wouldnt take a larger turbo.Might be wrong tho James might have to have a messure up and compare it to the c1j manifold in the shed.

i think it is a case of the housings being bigger and fowling on either the head or the water outlet from the head but im not sure as i hanvt tried. I have a t2/25 and that is fine so i cant really see what the problem is personaly.

As shwartz says, its a size thing. it isn't a problem until you get upto T28 sizes, then the T3 compressor starts to foul on stuff thats attached to the end of the cylinder head. I extended one a few years ago for that problem.
