Also it's at Silverstone which is closer to mewould be great to get some other R5's in the car park. If you don't know where to get the tickets all you have to do is fill out the form here.
They're free and you can order up to four at a time.

i've got 8 (the beauty of having 2x addresses)
are the rtoc going to do anything? reason i ask is that i'll bring my 5 if there is something like there was a few years ago when there was a parade lap, but if not i'll jump in a mates car and save the fuel bill

Can we do something such as a stand or the like? Or would it be literally just trying to get in the car park next to each other...
last year the alpine owners club had a thing for £10 which let you into the inner track at there show area. saved you walking in. it was the first time ive been and there were arond 10 to 15 gt turbos there. do a search as all the information is here somewhere. just make sure suncream is packed if it igoing to be hot as my head was blisteded last year

The inner show area at the RWS is ran by Stephen Dell of the RAOC and everything goes through him.
I'm keeping my eye on his website to see when the list goes up to apply for tickets.
Unfortunately the WSR costs more for you to show your car than to just pole up & have a look round like Joe Public does.
Costs are something like £10 per day to exhibit and then they do a Gala Dinner for the Saturday night at a cost of £50 per person which is excellent if you're interested??
I'll post something up when the details are clearer but anyone who's thinking of exhibiting please show your face on this post & i'll keep you updated?

It wouldn't suprise me if that one has been knocked on the head for good, I think due to time contrainta the only way it would come back is by limiting the infield parking numbers and those entitled to parade.
After last years bunfight/scrum I said I wasn't going to display there again but I'm already thinking of going.
i didnt think was a parade lap last year.
in fact i think Dell stated as such in the bumpf he posted on the various boards.
in which case... why ARE you paying to show your car by removing one of the best reasons to go?

No there was no lap last year, I was referring to the scrim around the cars whilst on display. Ask Steve it did get a bit hectic at times.
I think the lap is history as stated above, The parade lap 2 years ago was ok but you could only do like 15mph on trackOn the up side, Last years gala evening do was excellent
Hello guys & girls.. GOOD NEWS!!! The Exhibiting passes are out for Renault World Series 2010.
Infield Parking Registration Forms are now available to download HERE
It is still not known for certain if there will be a parade lap (although it is looking unlikely), but should still be a great event.
Details of the Gala Evening are also included. Special Guests include Jean Ragnotti.
For those of you who don't know about this we get to drive our cars into the circuit and display them in the collectors area and that costs you £10 per vehicle for both days.
The Gala event in the evening is a fantastic event & always good fun & plenty ofthen

No camping at Silverstone itself .
There are a few campsites nearby .You will need to sort that yourself but I'm sure there will be a crowd from here camping so someone is bound to pop up with a list .
Whittlebury park is always a good laugh and the dinner was in their hall 2 years ago so not far to walk (stagger/stumble!) back to tents
Just don't take any strawberry's with you or Jaffa n Miller may decide to start randomly chucking them in the distance then waiting quietly to hear if they hit anybodythey were going soft so wouldn't hurt
Everyone usually camps at the Whittlebury Park website which is pretty good because not only is it close to silverstone but it's where the Gala Dinner is held.
You need to book a pitch direct on the Whittlebury Park website.
Hamilton Fields is also a good site - think we paid around £30 for two nights pitch last year....
