Here we go again, another tungy back from the dead ! ! !

Good old mike delivered my new project last night, a H plate tungston grey 5.

At the pressent it sits on the drive looking very sorry for its self as a bare rolling shell.
The plan with this on is to keep it fully striped out as a road legal track car. The biggest problem will be what is going to power it. I was going for a fast road C1J until me and markymark thought it would be a good idea to see what else can fit under the hood ! oh well i guess time and money will deside.

Its going to be a long old slog so here goses nothing !

if i was in for a engine swap i think the 1.8 16v would be a nice drive, done before, turbo'd before.. or if i wasn't gonna turbo it perhaps just a williams lump and a williams wide track front..

if i found an engine for the right price 172

i was thinking a 16v with throtle bodies etc a while ago, but were thinking of something that hasnt been done before. If only a vax. red top was not so hard and pricey !

redtop shouldnt be too hard really. and you can get them for around £150-200.
i used to have a corsa with a redtop on tbs. sounded awesome and had 250bhp to go with it
