    What kind of power difference??

i was walking round my local scrappy today and spotted an old 480 es 2.0l in the very corner covered in brambles, now the engine hasnt been touched, i was just wondering if i was to get the cam and put it in my stock ft with richmod would it make much of a difference power wise and would i have to change the valve springs or would originals be ok, i know the best option is to get it reground but i havent got the funds atm, any help appreciated. thanks.

I have got an ep cam which i think is supposed to be from the 2 litre 480. Its thought of to be better that the 1.7 turbo cam which is seen as very restrictive.

its the cam from the engine code b18e or b18ep on the metal plate rivited to the engine, on the front, by gearbox. think its the inlet manifold that has 4 long runners in a U, Y shape
