    Help...

...I've sold my Evo as I was to paranoid that things were going to break & also the fuel bills were killing me, now I have some money to spend on a new car & I really don't know what to get...
I have a short list of sorts

Another GT Turbo = cheap to run, easy to fix & I can do all the work myself.
BMW 330ci = cheaper than the Evo to run, can do some of the work but not all, plus only the M3 E46 comes with LSD so no easy RWD fun .
Audi S4 Quattro = prob just as expensive as the Evo but more user friendly.
Nissan 200 sx = good RWD fun but only 2 real seats
Also looked at a Lexus IS 200 turbo conversion which was nice but just over my budget @ 5.5k.......

I have up to £4900 to spend but the less I spend the more my overdraft will look better (paid some off already)

Actually, they're much more spacious in the back than you might think. I know I'm only a shorty but I can stretch out quite comfortably in the back of Adams'.

    Oooo errr Dawn

My brother had one & when I sit in the front there is no space behind me after sticking the seat back but that said I am still considering one as we have a family car...

£4900 will get you a 55 plate Clio trophy! Evo magazine gave it the title of the third best drivers car in the world in 2005. Only beaten by a lambo gallerdo and ferrari f430

just a thought and should hold there value quite well

If that is all mine is worth I'll cry, I have only seen one that price and that had 120k on it. The rest of what you said is spot on though.

Nice car to drive Dave & still nippy enough to put a smile on your face. Had a play with a 330 on the way home & they were pretty evenly matched so I'd have prob been happy with either (the 330 being the other car I was looking for). The 6th gear is a bonus as well but the exhaust is puny & must be a real restriction !

I can't believe you sold the Evo so soon though, but I can understand why

I know Bill, I made my mind up pretty quickly once I'd been over the overdraft limit more than once recently.... plus I allways had the thought of it breaking & not being able to fix it. The S3 is a nice motor & I hope it will return more MPG than the Evo did, plus it will run on 95....

It's metallic black with black leather & grey alacantra interior, can't remember what the rims are straight multispoke audi 17's.
    I'll get some piccies taken.
