    Armtech rev limiter

Yesterday i noticed when putting a new acceerator cable on and routing it through the scuttle cover i have an Armtech rev limiter.

Are these any good and how do i use it, looking at the top of it, it says hold button for three seconds holding the revs at half of what you want to set the limiter at.

Has anyone had any experience with these and what would be a safe limiter to set.

    Thanks Mat

5500 doeasnt seem a fat lot tho really and im soon to be putting a T28 on so by the time its fully spooled up ill be hitting the limiter.

Are these Armtech devices any good.

Armtec ones are good. I have one myself on my car. I will have a look at yours on Saturday for you. You can go higher than 5500 but it's a risk. I done all my pushrods going over 7k on a STD engine when I disconected my limiter. I personally would go around 6200 on a STD engine.

I usually set mine at 7k on a std engine, never had anything untoward happen yet. I dont purposefully sit there bouncing it off the limiter though, its there for a failsafe.
