    flushing a tailgate

    in the middle off flushing mine now, has anyone flushed one where to take the boot lock out aswell, if so where did you put the solinode(popper)

    a pic of the inside of the boot would be really hel[full thanks

    hi mate,mines smoothed,didnt remove the lock tho,i think it looks better with the plastic trim line kept so it follows the line of the underlight trims.

    doesnt help with your question,but personaly i would leave the lock in

    been looking around and everyone has left the lock in, i have already flushed the line out an dthe recess so there is only the lock left in, but it is slightly set back so wanting to take it out and see what it looks like

    Looks better with the bottom strip and lock imo as MR 5 says..

    hmmmmmm thats not totally smooth lol, i am smoothing the line and the lock out aswell just wondering where the solinoid goes
