    mystery bar?

When I removed my manifolds,as the gasket needed renewing, there was what looked like a engine steady bar held on with one of the exhaust manifold nuts, the other end was not connected to anything, does anyone know where the other end should connect?
    Thanks in advance

Possibly the bar that steadies the exhaust, well, gives it a little more support by the downpipe.

It usually bolts where you mentioned and the other end is connected to the downpipe/exhaust through one of the exhaust studs...

Thanks for the advice,I've got a powerflow sytem on and there is no bracket that I can see to attach this bar to,so I imagine it's ok without it? I just want to make sure as access is sooooo much easyer while the manifolds are off!
    Cheers.
