    ok so the Monaco is being treated to a transplant.

    Im hoping you guys can help me build a check list of parts i will need.

    Remember this is an auto 1.4 so im going to need everything to swap from auto to manual.

    You need
    -engine with turbo and carb
    -wiring loom
    -hoses
    -intercooler
    -swirl pot and degassing chamber
    -all brackets
    -exhaust down pipe and poss system
    -fuel pressure regulator
    -fuel pump
    -rad and fan
    -clutch
    -gearbox
    -release fork
    -clutch cable
    -gearbox mounts
    -poss driveshafts (don't know if auto are same)
    -gearstick and selector rod
    -pedal assembly

    There's prob more that i've missed but its a start

    I got a perfect set of driveshafts and a 209 aei along with some magnecor 8mm leads, and gt turbo clocks

    i got shed load of stuff

    clutch cable
    cut loom
    release fork
    loads of brackets
    gearbox brackets
    will have pedals availible when i put my chrome 1s on
    cross over pipe
    selector rod

    Surely you mean speed sensor, loom and instrument panel....when was the last time you saw a GT with a speedo cable??

    and use the cam out of the C2J engine!

    Dr Glen even said that the auto c2j had a different cam to a manual c2j! dunno if its true

    but having spend a whole day in a scrappy with sparkie taking one out, its got to be worth a shot!

    cams from auto's produce more torque at the lower rev range

    Are they a better profile or just an advanced standard cam? Anyone know the lift - i can't access the tech apps from this terminal.

    GTT fuel lines (and return lines/aux tank are different, so are the fuel breathers).

    clutch cables

    ive had a look at the loom there is just a couple spades missing all plugs are on and does have relays

    ok Im back on with hunting down said bits at cheapo prices, Wife stepped into a conversation I was having and basically said "No Way" to the money i was gunna spend. She was being very serious aswell as usually she says nothing at all about my Renault Fun.
