    acuator/wastegate

    if you shorten the thread on a standard acuator does it give more or less boost

    Wind the arm so it's shorter and therefore harder to pull back over the wastegate = more boost

    Standard actuator doesnt like being wound in too much.

    Wind it in a little at a time and test drive in between

    What sort of boost are you looking to set the actuator to?

    just wondered really,car is standard
    but might increase but only to get it back to 120bhp

    Standard boost ~9psi, made 120bhp on the GTT from the factory.

    Have you got a boost guage fitted other than the dash guage?

    i just have dash one
    but i have one attached to a length of pipe that i can use just while setting up
