    Money no object

Okay, so if money was no object but you could only buy ONE car to keep for the rest of your life, what would it be? I'm really struggling to find the answer to this for myself at the moment.

    Re: Money no object

that is a tricky one, people ask me what my dream car would be quite often as they know i'm into cars but i can never give them an answer.

i tell them that i'd have to drive ever car to find one i'd like and could then answer the decision.

on looks only i'd say an aston martin but then i don't kno what they're like to drive.

i could happily live with a e46 m3 in blue as they're a good all round car, even if it does lack alot of driver involvement

In that case you should probably be allowed a 2nd car to choose for whilst the spyder is in the garage having it's roof/sensors/gearbox/roof ecu/engine sensors fixed.

    A Reventon spyder perhaps

Is this somthing you are going to buy Dawn ?

My gf got a car from her grandad and she will never sell it, sadley her grandad passed away not long after her getting the car. Reason for not wanting to upgrade i surpose.

She has a 2003 last of the old shape Mirca 1.0 tempest, great car.

Even sad'er she got crashed into in it, on M6 the other day, rear end damage, am sure i'll be able to fix it, but the insurence might have write it off first. and previous i have had some near misses where i have had to dosdge people out of control,Just shows even if you want to avoid an accident " and keep car forever" in reality it wont happen

We now have a 2010 renault megane 1.6 not a bad car, not that i would buy anyway, handles well

    Re: Money no object

    That's a tough one!

Since it would be my only car i would go for my pulsar that i'm building

That might sound stupid when one of my dream cars is an F40 but the pulsar is gonna an amazing spec and exactly how i want it

Well the smells from the engine bay area, the mechanical oily odour you smell after an engine has been running, you could even see the heat haze above the rads on the CCXR...yes yes, I'm a perv

My garage would consist firstly of a lancia stratos, sat next to an R5 turbo2 in the garage and a delta integrale for family occassions, after all sometimes you need a 4door.

There is always a noble for the same price as a new mondeo, tempting or what. Just remember that when you are staring at the option list for your mundane o. When a noble passes you - you will wretch remembering the choice you made.

Definately an F40, a V8 with 2 turbos should be enough to keep anyone happy, especially if you love sparse interiors
