Just thinking, however many of us now have a Turbo and a 172 or 182 etc, could the club become "Renaultsport & Turbo Owners Club" so still RTOC. Also a fair few on here now with 172 motor in other cars etc.
Cliosport is useful from time to time but this place is more like home. This might also attract a few more members this way.

Not a bad idea, When speaking to a mod on cliosport... they have 2000 paying members... out of 41000 registered members...
Where as we have 800 paying members out of 2000 registered members.
Cliosport charges £10 for new members and 5 renewing fee...
We charge £25 for new members and £10 for renewing membership...
I dont think RTOC is in bad shape at all..
I think thats a good idea.
Im sure this site is far more technical than that of cliosport so attracting more and more members can only be a good thing.

Nothing wrong with trying to fish for the good paying cliosport members, but keep the joining fee high to try keep out the neds..
depends on how you look at it i suggested that because from my understanding most of the people on here have reno 5`s compared to other cars.
now before i joined up here i understood that this site is mainly for renault turbos and that did put me off bit only because my 5 was not a turbo then i decided to make my 5 into a turbo thats when i joined up
