    Avo Coilover Spring

Hi Guys, can anyone here advise me what springs are used by Avo on there coilovers?

I have taken a photo of the markings which i think are a "7" followed by "225"

Which i take as a 7' spring with 225 lbs

Just wanted people to possibly confirm this or advise a better set up for fast road / track use as I need to replace the springs?

225lbs arent very strong the spax rsx are 310lbs as standard only know as I have taken mine out to replace with some shorter (6") eibach springs rated at 375lbs. Personally think I should have gone 7" length.

Thanks James, was thinking of upping the lbs rate, might go for a 7" 275 or 300 how are your 310's?

if you want to have a play with my springs your welcome they are 8" 310lbs 2.25" i'd on the avo you have more adjustment on the shock for height than the spax as the max you can lower on the spax with my springs is 60mm as the adjustment does not go all the way down the strut shaft were as the avo's do hence I had to go for a shorter spring. The 310 worked fine and not that stiff as with the coilovers you can adjust the rebound to how you like it.
