    holy thread revival batman.

    i have found and put a deposit on a 1963 renault 8 needing resto this eve, just sorting the logistics of getting it back to my house but the deal is done, uber chuffed

    back in the renault game again

    you sir are a ledge, ill be in contact in a week or so. really glad to be getting back into it, had a few years away from old french cars so kinda gone in the deep end with something silly old.

    It's got 4 doors, super sensible and red vinyl interior so quite grown up. Yeah them race prepped ones were awesome, I'm thinking low and slow for this one so same kinda stance but without the speed they have

    the plan as it stands is to get it mobile and running around then through an mot. not going to worry to much about the body work to start with more the underneath brakes engine gearbox and electrics. if i can get it on the road by mid august ill be a very happy man. then over winter it should get the panels and bodywork sorted. some parts look hard to find but ive already been sent offers and help on another forum for spare bits that i might need, so maybe there not too hard to find its about looking in the right places.
