    std ignition map

    Think i remember Scoff having numbers for the ignition timing at certain loads on the std Remix unit? Anyone still got these?

    Also does the remix unit only adjust timing due to load or does it use rpm too?

    with thanks

    Hammy

    Re: std ignition map

    This is the base map I work from when tuning a C1J. I did it a few years back based on the timing I pulled from an RE209. I say base because ofcourse every different engine build will want a different map. this will get you going.

    KPA is pressure

    0ka = - 1 bar
    100kpa = 0
    200kpa = 1 bar and so on

    I see what you mean, it is less than the standard map that i got from scoff........i must have fat fingered it when transferring it to megasquirt

    When i remap the car in a few weeks i think i will put it up to standard numbers for just now

    Dont forget to take in consideration what turbo/cam and boost you run for correct ign around peak torq. guess on 107oct and stock map be fine anyway..

    Re: std ignition map

    Sorry i see what you are on about now

    I have MS 1 Extra with the V3 board and fuel and ignition are both 12x12.

    I can upgrade to MS 2 on this same board, all i need to do is add a £100 daughter card and i can have 16x16 maps plus a few extra features

    Both ecus allow you to move the rpm and map point to where ever you want, they have full interpolation between points.
