wet carpet
this one is bugging me, under my drivers seat i keep getting water, i have taken the seat out and put blotting paper around the rubber seal on the door , no sign of leaks, i dont have a sunroof and currently the car is off the road. any ideas please.

Heater matrix leak? Hows the water level in the header tank?

hi tim car has no water in at all, its currently off the road and the water system has been drained also its right in the middle of the car , over by the pedals is dry , its under the seat.............

Could be a number of places mate, window / door seals, windscreen surround / seal, sunroof, rear 1/4 windows

i had the same problem mine was that the rear inner arch had come come away from the outer shell and when it was driven in the rain the water would flick up and get in.

Heya mate
I had the same problem with mine with water coming in on the drivers side did exactly what you have done with the blotting paper what i found was that when the scuttle panel filled up with water it was pooring in threw the choke cable gromit use sealant around that BUT then i found a short period after that i was also getting water coming in threw the bonnet cable so again out with the sealant hope any of this helps mate.

could be your windscreen seal they have a habit of pissin in. if it is that brake your window and get a new one fitted off your insurance, dont even have to get your hands dirty...
