    xr4i turbo technics conversion info

    Does anybody know what turbo they used on this conversion? &/or if something of say a cossie would bolt straight on??

    my mate is in need of a turbo for one.

    , not entirely sure but i think it was a t3, im sure someone will put me right, why not ask on passionford etc or look it up on the web.

    yeah it is a t3,but wanted to know if it's a common fitting turbo that they took off an escort/sierra? or something they had knocked up themselves & therefore pretty rare & probably expensive.

    if its a T3 then i reckon by memory that pretty much any T3 will fit mate onto the manifold, im sure the section where the turbo bolts onto it was pretty much the same fitment so it could take any T3.

    p.s. if your looking for an original engine ready to bolt into a car mate, a mate of mine has a car with one just rusting away in his yard and he's never going to to anything with it.

    let me know if your interested and i'll ask what he wants for it.
