    outer cv boots?

are they all the same along the manual gearbox range regardless
of engine size or year ?

my passenger side has split ,spitting the lubrication juice all over the place
had to fit a local factors one listed for the renault 9 range even though
it is 20mm shorter than the one that was on there .

Not sure about the 11 shafts, but gtt/campus have different boots. I know this as my local motorfactors give me the wrong one a couple of years ago. The campus one was smaller & lasted about 5 mins, so id be keeping an eye on it.

think there are 2 plastic ones and 4 rubber ones....

all different sizes and lengths.....some are held with a single wide groove, twin grooves etc....

I have been using the generic ones with the tool that allows you to pop them over the front of the shaft then cut them to size.

yeah , got 2 grooves on passenger side . thats kinda why i am
not happy with the boot from factors as its wide end is totaly flat .

just got these of ebay and they seem to have the grooves on them
but still tiny bit shorter ,will have to suck n see i guess

i used a cider bottle to get the boot over a pint glass
than over the cv joint end . works fine if you have not got
a cv boot expanding cone to hand and use grease on all
