Try your current insurer on one of your cars or this alone. Admiral did me 2 weeks cover for 16 quid as a car added to a policy short term. hope this helps a tiny bit
And i know you wanted a day only but seeing as you could get charged a lot for a day see what a week will cost, it may work out the same. The charges are all admin fees mostly
i will try hic tommorow, i only need 1 day as i want it mot'd but if its as cheap as you say i will do 2 weeks. on my mondeo it was easy and logg did it on his iphone it was that easy. on the 5 its becomming a right pain to find somone.
Just ask to add a car to your policy short term. they should do you a good deal
I usually pay £20 for a day cover so that seems a good deal

im not woried mate will always try to help people out if i can
just called to get my no claims discount and thought i would run a quote with hic whilst they are on the phone. i have moved to a postcode with less crime rate, had not made a claim in 5 years and have a clean licence, old policy was £340 with hic same car same details but with no bad history as beforeand im now over 25 and a years no claims on this car and its shot up to £750 WTF.
called them back to check details agin, they completly cocked it up. but good news is they offerd it to me for 250 quid so i took a year.
