Re: Renault Clio I 16v -- Turbo -- New project

Definately a fun project when up and working. Finally got mine fired up again after putting it back together. Turbo was not liking me and the way I was running the car

A lot of the things you will be looking for to convert the F7P can be found on this site

    http://www.efi-parts.co.uk/

Person who built this website (scoff) runs this. Plus also runs a 172 turbo.

This company may also be of help to you

Thx BigFoot !! Some people told me a few weeks ago that the project will be dificult. Well no matter i got a FR4 - 172ch engine in my pocket if the project fail with the other mechanical . Anymay i will try to do the performance with the clio 16v engine, we will see the results jaja

I ve been seen the sites you add me in your reply. It looks good. There, in England, you have all you want around this world (cars, turbos...) Here in Spain, we're 20 years back of you.

Sincerely thank you very much. I hope to show you my 'brico' as soon as possible. I wanna start it, this Christmas. I upload photos and datasheets, etc ...

If you know other sites, people who can help me or something about this theme, tell me please. Never is enough knowledge for this kind of proyects

    thx all.
    best regards

    PD:
i try to add a photo but i cant yesterday. To upload a pic i need to get it in a program like imageshack or similar?

Re: Renault Clio I 16v -- Turbo -- New project

It depends on how much effort you want to put it. Just doing a 172 conversion in the car keeping it NA is going to be fun, however if you want the turbo route keep with the lump you already have a turbo convert that.

Id recommend going with the adaptronic ECU as there are a few of us on this site running that ECU. Plus can get some maps to get the car up and running.
