yeah, just spoken to Jaffa and he says the same, was a bit slippy but almost bone dry now. They are having a great day.
It was more like a 720 spin according to Dunc!
Not long been back from what is a really nice place!! Only shot up for a couple of hours as it was so close (a rare treat). Each of their cars did them proud from what I could see. Dunc did indeed do a 720...ON THE PARADE LAP.......Alex's CLS sounds stunning! What a weapon!...Will upload my few pics later on

back, what a great day, shame a few didnt come. last hour was written off for me, the part that the dipstick goes in snaped off lol, ah well bit of a mess under the bonnet but nowt to major. a mate has a few pics and vids will try and get them up later on

JIL is back in the nice warm garage ,a few battle scars and minus a dipstick tube and needing a new rear wheel bearing by the sounds .Was a good day ,but very hairy in the morning session .
At least I span off in anger in the afternoonand not on the sighting lap

Was giving Adey a bit of banter in the briefing about getting some lessons - look out
Road tyres on the vx just dont really work (even when the track dried out) but had my scare at druids after almost catching my tank slap moment it snapped and tried dont lift tech, lift off tech and finnaly brake on the grass - none really worked - just NO grip. Quite a few span there to the point that it was announced that if anyone else span they had to sit out for and hour and get tuition when going back out lol when I came in after the sighting lap they said you may want to take it easy
Paul even managed to spin the vag 5 just before it with Neil in the car
Finally dried out and changed to my track wheel / tyre setup and different car, spent the rest of the daying getting 6-10mpg only coming in to rest brakes which got worse towards the end of the day
Then when fitting road tyres on at the end the rear pad was half way through the metal, no rear pad left
Managed to take most of the gang out
All in all top day other than my brown pants moment
Good to see such a good turn out

Also have to say VERY impressed with the level of marshalling. Were really good for giving out blue flags and sorting out the packs

nice pics lomo, looking good, the renault did me proud and held its own very well all day, just been out to spanner check the car in the daylight, needs new front and rear pads and a m10 bold has replaced the snaped off dipstick tube lol
Well this morning I find out my front pads are metal on metal lol - guess what I am doing tonight
Also my turbo is leaking oil again this morning but was fine all day on track??? Oh well did not let me down when it mattered.
Don't know about the rest of the gang but I slept like yogi bear last night

giving the ring a miss for early next year to be honest, i want to get a few more uk tracks under my belt so i can comfertably go back out to the ring and be able to drive alot better.
