I'm after 2 2pin plugs for water temp sensor and crank sensor, if needs be will order some new ones from EFI-parts tomorrow plus any other bits i missed too!

I won't be bringing it next weekend, not looking its best with all the multi-coloured archs on the front (not had painted yet since fitted slicks)!

    Re: My red 5

Been abit of a while since updated this

Since last update I've had a lot go on, main thing is buying my new house. The 5 now lives in its new larger garage with light and electricity (thank god!)

I have completed a few more little jobs an there's really not much left now
The main development on the project will be its trip to Scoff's first week in March, yep my mate is taking his 5 there and arranged for mine to be taken too so in a few weeks time I will be able to hear it run for the first time in 6 years!

Once its running and base mapped its off for MOT and then the road for abit of running in before the boost gets turned right up!

    Re: My red 5

Well this thread had to come to an end but unfortunately it wasn't the end I wanted, after loosing all motivation for 5's middle of last year I began stripping it for parts

Before Christmas I had a change of heart and began collecting parts for an F7P turbo engine but the list was becoming endless for what I wanted out of it plus I sold too many parts before so the cost's were spiralling!

The decision came to sell the lot, I did offer the rolling shell but no serious offers so today I have stripped it down to a bare shell and it'll be off to the scrap yard this week.
Real shame to do this after all the hard work I put into, never mind.

Here's the final pic of its life with me before it heads for the yard in the sky

Windscreen had slightly de-laminated in places so not worth saving mate

It is abit gutting mate seeing it like this, can't believe last time I drove it was Aug 2007 and then spent god knows what on it to get it built only to loose interest!

Maybe with it gone and have a good break I may come back with something new
